Mi ez a hely?
Ez a weboldal az én Thészeusz hajóm: egy játszótér, ahol rendszerezem a munkámat és a filozófiámat, fejlődöm mint kommunikátor, és remélhetőleg másokat is erre inspirálok.
Formális, szakmai bemutatkozásom: Magyar-brit művész és kutató vagyok, munkám során a transzformatív hangban rejlő lehetőségeket vizsgálom. Doktorimat (PhD) biofeedback művészet és meditáció témakörben szereztem, posztdoktori kutatásaimat pedig a látássérült közönséget segítő inkluzív filmhang területén végeztem.
Egy lazább bemutatkozás: Arra próbálok rájönni, hogyan élhetek tartalmas életet tudományosan megalapozott művészetre támaszkodva.
Ez a weboldal egy folyamatos kísérlet, ahol a munkám dokumentálása segít jobban megérteni a következő lépéseimet. Mivel a tartalmas élet titka nem csupán a biofeedback művészethez és a filmhanghoz kötődik, számos más téma is érdekel, amelyekbe bátran tervezek fejest ugrani ezen az oldalon.

Jelenleg kutatási pályázatokon dolgozom, hogy folytathassam a mentális egészséget támogató biofeedback meditációs munkámat. Ezt a kutatást azon egyetemek egyikén tervezem megvalósítani, amelyekkel jelenleg is kapcsolatban állok.
Az Enhancing Audio Description projekten végzett 4,5 éves posztdoktori kutatásom után jelenleg tudományos munkatárs (Research Associate) vagyok a University of Yorkon, ahol PhD-mentorként és posztdoktori képviselőként is tevékenykedem. Emellett vendégkutató (Visiting Fellow) vagyok a University of Essexen, ahol három évig tanítottam a Navigating the Digital World modult.
2025 novembere óta szülői kormányzóként (parent governor) is segítem fiam általános iskoláját, ahol a sajátos nevelési igényekkel (SNI), a mentális egészséggel és a fenntarthatósággal (sustainability) kapcsolatos feladatokért felelek.

Most, hogy életem felét már lassan külföldön töltöm, néha próbálom a nemzeti identitásomat kutatni, talán gyógyítani is. Reméltem, hogy Csernus könyve segít majd. Segített is, de nem úgy, ahogy arra számítottam – és lehet, hogy pont ez volt az író terve: hogy konfrontálódjak néhány hülyeségemmel ... meg az övéivel. -

After reaching out to my friend, who used to write English poetry, I received two books in the post from him. One was Carey's book, which we hoped would give me a crash course on poetry. In short, I liked it but also expected more; a broader overview and more insights on how and why schools or movements of poetry changed. Still, I learnt a lot. -
