"Through a mentorship programme at the University of York, I was mentored by Krisztián for six months; it was an invaluable experience. Krisztián's insight into academic project management, as well as his friendly and clear communication, meant he provided direct and applicable support for me to develop my academic work, my applications to alt-academic jobs, and to share my research with wider audiences. Krisztián's expertise in private LLMs, their ethical uses, how to apply these to research methods, and how to use them to assist in disseminating research for wider audiences has revolutionised my thinking regarding this swiftly developing technology. His clarity and understanding of this topic were a breath of fresh air for thinking about how to stay adaptable and current with integrating technology into research. One of the notable aspects of Krisztián's mentoring was his perceptive insight into how to merge academic interests with wider goals around public engagement. His extensive knowledge of how to promote and share research with wider audiences, through online material on websites or in workshops, has enabled me to thrive in producing my own content for these formats. During the mentoring, Krisztián drew from his extensive experience balancing multiple priorities to discuss efficient time management, especially the importance of maintaining research progress alongside other commitments. Furthermore, his understanding and communication of how to adapt research to the stakeholders has helped me to develop my own academic work, especially for writing up my projects. In summary, Krisztián is a skilful mentor, and any project or supervision headed by Krisztián would benefit vastly from his wealth of knowledge, experience, and excellent interpersonal skills." — June 2026

"I have known Krisztián since September 2015 when I started the Creative Music Technology course at Anglia Ruskin University. On our first interaction he acted in the capacity of a technical officer and helped me iron out a few kinks in a MAX/Msp patch that I was working on. Since then I've enrolled in two modules which he taught, namely Music for the Moving Image and Sensor Technology. As a lecturer he has always been supportive and appreciative of the students, always encouraging us to look beyond the scope of the syllabus. His work on Brain Controlled Interfaces inspired me to consider and work on my own version of Brain Controlled Interfaces. His work ethos shows that he cares for the subject and the students. He also recommended me as a professional to his clients and I'm aware that he's done so for other students as well. This just adds to the fact that he cares for the success and welfare of his students a lot." — November 2019

"I have been working with Krisztian since 2016 in the context of the research project 'Enhancing Audio Description'. Krisztian is a key member of the team and I don't know what I would do without him. As part of his role he has designed the project website and taken on the responsibility of creating content as well as making sure the website remains accessible. He has recorded and edited podcasts as well as audiovisual content and has also written blog posts. Krisztian has also worked on collecting data, analysing it and writing up reports, which are an essential part of our project and key to help us move forward. He has worked interviewing volunteers and liaising with charities. In addition to this, he has shown outstanding skills in organising events which he has demonstrated through his work on the Conference on Accessibility in Film, Television and Interactive Media that took place at the University of York in October 2017. Krisztian is a great asset to our team and I hope to continue working with him in future projects." — April 2018
